These opportunities allow students to experience college-level coursework, lighten future course loads, and demonstrate initiative to universities—all with guidance from our advising team to ensure proper fit and balance.
Creating Valuable Opportunities
Eagle’s View Academy offers the opportunity for qualifying juniors and seniors to earn high school credit and college credit at the same time. Students are required to have an unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, pass the college placement test, and be in good disciplinary and attendance standing with the academy to qualify for this program. Please contact the academic advisor for further eligibility requirements.
Juniors who are eligible for dual enrollment may take two college courses per term (summer, fall, and spring) beginning with the summer term before their junior year. During the fall and spring semesters, junior dual enrollment students will take two college courses and five EVA courses each semester. Senior dual enrollment students will take two college courses and at least three EVA courses each semester.
Seniors who are eligible for dual enrollment and have an unweighted GPA higher than a 3.50 may participate in the early admissions program. Seniors in the early admissions program must take a minimum of four courses at FSCJ and one course at EVA each semester.
